slacking time

I still can't figure out how to change the blog template and put a chat box in my blog. As I get older, I become more untechie. And I still don't understand facebook. LOL. How I miss the old days when I still have much time to learn about this stuffs.

I'm supposed to meet up with Tini yesterday. I woke up at 11.30 unintentionally. I don't feel like waking up cause I have nothing to do in the morning. I realized that I've told Diana to be ready at 1pm. So I quickly run to the bathroom, take a shower and dress up.

I reached Plasa Singapura at 1pm, I called Diana but no body is picking up the phone. So I stroll around and wait for her to call me back. In about 5 minutes, she called and said that she's still at home. Gosh.... T_T I've told her that I'm hungry and told her to be hurry.
I'm the one who is supposed to be late and yet she is the one who is late T_T
She said that she gonna be there in 30 minutes. Huhuhu... Din, if you are reading this, make sure you won't be late again next time. LOL.

When she arrived, we decided to eat the omelette, it taste so so....



And for dinner, we eat at Sushi Tei... hm yummy...

Whenever I try to stay at home & sit quietly, there's always someone who will invite me for either lunch or dinner. And I can't refuse, since it is boring to stay at home all alone... I need to socialize... right? (There's always a room for excuses... LOL). I did feel guilty for spending so much money on food, but... i can't resist the temptation. I've stop myself from shopping... (trying hard to).

Today... I actually have a date with Diana... But I said that I don't feel like going out today. It turns out that I HAVE to go out, since my cousin called and ask me to buy some stuffs for her. Her parents are going back tomorrow, so I need to get the stuff by today.

I go to to Plasa Singapura and go to Action City and get the thing she want. It's a cute fake swiss roll and bread, and it's pretty expensive. I know you can get it for RMB 3-5 for that in Guangzhou, especially when u buy it in bulk.



I received a phone call from C Pink, she wanna meet up. I bet she called cuz she read the comment from me in facebook. She told C Ipii that she is going back to Jakarta soon and I replied to her "U haven't meet me yet..." and i asked her... she said that's true... lol...

I was in Dhoby Ghaut & I thought Bugis is still in the north east line, but it's on the east west line. So I have to get down to City Hall and change to another train. To my surprise, oh my my.... I know it's office off time and everybody are going home. But I didn't know that it's gonna be that many people. I heard an announcement "The train is gonna be delay, sorry for any inconvenience" I can hear everybody's sighing including me... lol...

Unlucky me, I'm unable to squeeze into the train so I have to wait for another train. Another train come and still I can't get in. So come the third train... finally I'm able to get in. I met C Pink @ Jco just below the escalator. A few minutes later, David came, we're still waiting for another friend. So we chit chat for a while and finally decide to go to Swensen's and have dinner without their friend. She is taking too long and we are way to hungry to wait for her.

and here comes Sunday

well well well ...... what a great day... though the sky is cloudy, but i'm in a good mood today cuz i am going to meet up with my best friend, Lidya. I've known her since primary school.
We rarely meet since we are always in a different country, but I'm cool with it. Now that we are in the same country, Singapore.

as usual, she was late, it was 1.30pm but she haven't arrive yet. i'm too hungry to wait for her, so i am buying a pie to fill in my empty stomach . the pie is yummy, makes me craving for Jester's pie..... ohhh... how i miss Perth ....

another bite to my pie, she called "Sa, lu lagi di mana?
Elsa: "lagi di tempat yg banyak jualan makanan"
Lidya: "sebelah kiri apa kanan pas keluar dr mrt nya?"
Elsa: "di kanan lid.... gua lagi makan pie nih..."
Lidya: "dasar... ok deh gua ke sana skrg"

1 more bite to finish my pie she called again "Sa di mananya? Deket yg jualan Bean ya?"
Elsa: "Iya Lid... lu masuk lagi ke dalam.... ehh itu gua udah ngeliat lu"

Then we eat at Asian Fusion or something... (told ya i'm not good in memorizing names).
I ordered a Tom Yam Soup and she ordered the spicy chicken sets menu.



After lunch we went to PS to watch "New In Town". It's so funny !!!! But you can easily guess what's gonna happen next.



and for dinner... i went to ayam penyet ria again ... lol. that's because Lidya is craving for it.




Danny came and join us. While waiting for the bus, Danny said that he is still hungry and gonna eat something later. So I accompany him to eat at Mc Donalds. Hehe then I go back home. I have a feeling that somebody is coming. When I opened the door, I see my uncle sitting in the couch and was watching TV. He asked "Lu khi ta lok? Co kang hio?"
Then I replied "Emsi a... wa boi than kang kok lah"
LOL. Danny text msg me and said "Sa jangan sedih terus. Km kok kyk kepikiran apa gitu... rileks aja."
He mention that I look different today, not as cheerful as I'm used to be.
I am like .... errrr... am I ????

i'm looking for a wedding gift for Julie... what shall i get her? helpppp .. the only thing i bought is this card ... simple & beautiful ....

Social Butterfly

Yesterday, I went downstairs to watch Valkyrie with my brother. I was planning to watch Slumdog Millionaire, too bad they found out that my brother isn't 16 yet! LOL. That movie isn't as good as I thought, anyhow it's not my type of movie.

My brother stayed with me and left in the morning. I wake up at 10am, take a shower and dress up to meet my friends at Far East Plaza.
Reached Scotts Road at 12.30pm, then Stephen text msg me and said that his friend want to eat "Nasi Padang". So I head my way to Lucky Plaza and wait for him there.
In 10 minutes he called and asked where am I? I said "I am sitting in front of Baleno".

There he is with his friend called (I dunno). I'm not good in memorizing people's name. His friend recommend us to eat at "Minang ...." (oh gosh, i'm terrible). While he and his friend eat, I waited for Diana cause she hasn't come yet. While I was about to order, Diana called.

Diana came and I introduced her to Stephen and his friend. And I called Yuli and asked her whether she is coming with us or not. She said that she's gonna be late and she won't be going to the temple.

After lunch, all of us go to the Singapore Buddhist Lodge at Kim Yam Road and hear the talk by Ajahn Brahm. Anyway he is a Western Monk. The talk is quite interesting. It's 4 pm and he ends the talk. We decided to go to Plasa Singapura, and I call Yuli and Lisia to tell them that we are meeting at PS. We ate at Ayam Penyet Ria for dinner

A picture speak a thousand words

There's a new photo box at Ciputra Mall in Pekanbaru. A lot better than the one in M studios, cause with this one you can re shoot for as many times as you like. You get to choose the background and the cover (just like the one in Guangzhou)



Anyway Diana (aka Udin) went to Pekanbaru to meet me (oh she is so sweet... LOL). Nah... that's not the reason she came to Pekanbaru. I've asked her several of times to come to Pekanbaru cuz I'm dying to meet her. I took another pictures with her with the "Mum & Baby" cover. We have a memory about that during my studies in Guangzhou.

There's another one but I haven't scan it yet. Udin went to Pekanbaru for 4 days. On day 3, she is getting bored. Pekanbaru don't have any attraction or any sight seeing places... *sigh*
I don't recommend anyone to visit Pekanbaru though. Anyway, to my awareness, when I see at those pictures, I realized that I've been wearing "YELLOW" shirts. LOL. Wait til I scan the other pic...

I feel sorry for abandoning my blog. Let's say that I'm procrastinating again, my bad habit :-(
Since my last blog, I rarely took pictures and I don't feel like blogging anymore. See how fast I'm in getting bored? I don't know whether I can survive living in Singapore and jobless within 3months? Cause all of my friends said that the longest you have to wait is about 3 months. Oh No!!! I'm pretty sure that I won't be able to handle the purse strings, more spending and no income? My mum is so gonna kill me!!!

There's no more excuse for me to delay updating this blog. I've been busy during this month. I'm not busy for a job hunting, it's more like .... busy hanging out with my friends.
I've arrived in Singapore on the 12th of February with my parents. They went back on the 17th of February. I went out with them everyday. They went to Singapore for a check up.
My parents and I went to the dentist, out of my expectation, it cost SGD$1000++ for me. My dad n my mum's fees are SGD$3000++ So the total is around SGD$4400
Shocking truth for me... one of my child should become a dentist, guaranteed they will be loaded !!! LOL. Or should I marry a dentist? A shortcut to become rich... LOL. J/k

On the 17th of February, I sent my parents off to the airport. I reached home at around 10am. I took a shower and suddenly I heard my cousin's calling my name. She came to Singapore again for a check up. She came here with her friend. We ate lunch at a Japanese restaurant.

The next day, I went to Orchard with Christine, Diana and Juliana. While I was walking, I heard someone's calling out my name, and from quite a distance I realized, "Oh... she's one of my KC's friends... but what's her name?"
I recognized her, but I can't remember her name. A short conversation between us:
Elsa: "Hey... pa kabar?"
Unknown: "Bae2, Elsa skrg udah di sg juga ya?"
Elsa: "Iya... ini bsk gw rencana mo ketemuan ama si Tini. Loe skrg udah kerja di singapore ya. Can i have ur phone no?" (Still trying my best to recall her name)
Unknown: "Iya kerja di hotel. Ok deh gw cabut dulu ya, ntar gw kasi tau yg laen deh kalo Elsa ada di sini. Anak2 KC emang kebanyakan hari kamis ngumpul2 tuh."
Elsa: Ok deeee, tar kontek2 lg ya... byeee
Unknown: "Byeee" (sambil buru2)

A few minutes later, Tini called me, I told her that I've met someone from KC intuitively in Takashimaya but I don't recall her name. Suddenly, I can recall, "Eh Tin .... si Lei2 ... LOL... akhirnya gw inget juga namanya."

Yesterday, Marissa text msg me and asked me to meet her up at Bugis. I called her and invite her to watch movie with my friends. Because Christine is leaving Sg at night.
After I hang up the phone, I received a text msg from Pink, she invite me for a dinner at night and I replied that I can't.

Marissa and I went to Takashimaya again. She met her friend and introduce her to me. We ate lunch together at the foodcourt, afterwards we stroll around Taka and Paragon.
At 3.30 we went to Cineleisure to buy tickets for a movie titled "He's just not that into you"
Marissa and I waited for Juju, Din2 and Tin2 at the foodcourt. LOL.
While I was in the cinema, mum text msg me and said "Elsa Macbook air nya blom tentu bisa dapet, kalo yg agak tebal mau gak? Atau mau sony aja?"
Huaaaa..... I won't be getting Macbook Air :((

After the movie, all of us except Marissa went to Christine's house and get her luggage. Her flight is at 10pm, we arrived at the airport, terminal 1 and check in, then we took a skytrain to go to terminal 3 to have dinner and Bye bye Christine.... Have a safe trip to Melbourne.
