Ko Awi's Birthday

19th of December 2008

We went to Yi De Lu to get some of the birthday's supplies, not much: a party popper, balloons, and the magic candles. Meli was thinking to get some xmas's present to our classmates.


It costs RMB20 for 12 figureheads

I remember that I have lots of leftover papers from the christmas cards I've done for Indoflare, so I gave it to Meli and asked her to make a small cards for each figurehead.



From Yi De Lu, we head our way to Bread Talk in Tee Mall to get the birthday cake.




Beforehand there was a mistake, Meli wrote "Happy 24th Birthday Ko Awie" (to write on that white plate in the cake)
I wasn't aware of the "24" though, then about a minutes later I realize.
"Huh? Meli... are you sure that Ko Awi is 24 years old? Is he one year older than me? That's weird."
I can see her anxious looks, and she told the lady to change the plate. Luckily it doesn't cost any cents. LOL.

And now we are home, i was busy with my balloons.





It's 00:00 and time to decorate Ko Awi's living room. And when I was in, I know that the balloons are not enough! Hix, my plan failed. Since the room was so dark, we are sticking it randomly, and this is how it looks. LOL. It was supposed to be in the ceiling! Another plan failed.

At 3am, we went for a barbecue, well well well.... we are such a pig, ravenous people.

Peek-A-Boo!!!
Today I wake up at 12 then take a shower and sit nicely in front of my laptop and watching movie. LOL. As you can see, I skipped today's classes. And guess what? I don't even bother to touch my books.
At 1.30pm Meli rang me and invite me to go to chimelong and watch the circus. D'oh I wanna watch Cirque De Soleil in Macau. Hiks....

Around 5pm I went to Meli's house. She's having some kind of issues with her boyfriend. It's better not to mention it here. I ate dinner with her, she cooked "Telor Rendang" and "Kentang Balado".

I'm browsing through www.melissaaustralia.com.au again. I'm so in love with the shoes designed by Vivienne Westwood. I've been addicted with Melissa's shoes since I was in Perth. If I can, I wanna own it all. LOL. Melissa is absolutely candylicious. Love the smell... hmmm.... No kidding, It smells like bubble gum.

I love shoes. *drooling*

Right now I have an obsession of owning Crocs, I just wanna have one. That's it. But I'm retaining my current temptation. I shouldn't shop too much!!!!!!!!!!!! I gotta stop.... STOP and STOP. It's time to sleep now. Good nite.

Oh I forgot to write about Ko Awi's Birthday. Gonna do it tomorrow.

Moaning Monday

It's not even Monday anymore. It is now 2:12AM and I'm still wide awake. That's what happened when you take a long nap in the afternoon. Gosh .....

I'm still on a holiday mood, don't feel like going to school, don't feel like studying. Blame on that one week break! LOL. Anyway, I don't think I'm gonna be able to wake up this morning. Even if I am, I'm not gonna be able to concern in the class.

Man, why do we have to go to school on the 31st? I'm glad that we have a holiday again on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd of January. Sadly, we have class on Sunday and on Monday the exam starts !!!!! Whoaaaaa...

I chatted with Udin, Asen, Widi, Tessa, Budi, Ko Adi and Meli today. I'm getting pretty tired to chat that's why I tend to put my status invisible and appear offline. LOL. Not that I'm getting bored to chat with them, it's just that I don't feel like typing ... Huhuhu.... I'm getting lazy and lazier.... HELP !!!

I need someone to help me to reply all those comments in friendster and facebook too. Hahaha.... see? I need an assistant, and of course it must be free of charge :-P

In the afternoon, Wenda asked me whether I'm going to the saloon? And I said No. I told her earlier that I wanna dye my hair again, but I decided not to. I hate going to the saloon cause it bores me. Hehe.... I remember a years back then, I was perming my hair and I continuously asked the lady whether it is done or not.

Lucky for us since we left the class earlier during 听说, a 30 minutes early. LOL. Our 班主任 asked us to invite the 听说 teacher as well, but it turns up that the 听说 teacher is unable to come with us. That was lamentable. We had our lunch at Tiger Prawn, a Vietnamese restaurant. If I'm not mistaken, we ordered 8 dishes, only managed to take pictures of the 7 dishes. The foods were extremely delicious.

Christmas present

Meli and I are giving away a Christmas present to our classmates. Hehe... I did the packaging and Meli did the cards. Because of this thingy, i was thinking of becoming an 'Event Organizer".






Other thing was because I planned on Ko Awi's suprise party. It didn't really went smooth as I expected, cause it was very last minute plan. Hehe....
While Meli was busy with the cards, i was blowing up the balloons (obviously using a balloon pumper). It was written that there are 100 balloons, but I don't think I blew that much. There was only about 50 to 80 balloons... I don't know... I didn't count it. Ahong was helping me with around 10 balloons, and the rest I was taking care of it... LOL.

11th of December 2008, the school carry out a food fair. The food was cooked by the students. It was tempting. Take a look at the pictures ...

My "not-so-new" hair

I have to do a little flash back before the year of 2008 ends. Hehe....
On the 6th of December I cut my hair cause my hair is getting longer, I want to keep it short.
After the haircut, Wenda and I went to Tee Mall to get something.
You can feel the Christmas atmosphere out there. It feels good.



Soon after, we went to Bellagio and had our dinner over there.

This was Wenda's food, I can't take a picture of my food cause the waitress was in front of me.


The haircut costs me RMB260, cut by a senior stylist. And guess what? The senior stylist accidentally cut his hand while cutting my hair. LOL. Oh, look at my tired face. my eyebag T_T

Merry "Belated" Christmas

Aloha everyone ...
I'm starting to blog again. LOL. I knew that I tend to be absent-minded, that's why I should be writing it down so that I can recall it.
It's good to show how amazing life could be... though sometimes there are things that upset you.
Well that's life... Life is a roller coaster, full of ups & downs. You just have to deal with it. Spend your life today as you will die tomorrow. That's one of my favorite quote.

So here's the story during my one week break:

1. 21st of December 2008
I fetch Ingrid (my cousin) in the airport. I decided to take the bus cause it's gonna be expensive to go there by taxi. If you take the taxi, it gonna cost you around RMB100. If you take the bus from 天河 大厦 it only cost you RMB20. I'm not gonna spend a big money on taxi. Please don't call me a cheapskate. LOL . I was early so I gotta wait for about an hour till Ingrid's arrived.

When I was standing in the hall, I recognized someone, it was a "non-close" friend of mine. Just a "Hi and Bye" friend. So we chatted for a couple of minutes. Suddenly I saw the other person whom I recognized... well I'm not that close with him too. But we still chatted and waited.

15 minutes later, someone bumped her luggage into me. I thought she is just a common rude Chinese woman who doesn't know how to say sorry. That's why I just ignored her. What happened later is that someone bumped her luggage into me again. Geez, I was so pissed-off.
But when I look back, I laughed. And why is that? Cuz it was Ingrid!

We went back home and had dinner at Kungfu. Stroll around Shang Xia Jiu Lu for a couple of hours then go back home to rest.

2. 22st of December 2008
I'm so excited !! Yeah baby !!! We are going to Macau. I've been there once, the only thing that excite me is that I'm gonna stay at "The Venetian". LOL.

I got the chance to ride on the Gondola. One thing that's disappointing is the food in the foodcourt. It may look tasty, but geez ... it's awful...






3. 23rd of December 2008
We are leaving Macau and on our way to Hongkong. We decided to take the ferry. There was a big wave and i'm feeling a little sea sick.



Then we head our way straight to the hotel. Check-in and leave our luggage then go to Times Square. I got a new Nokia phone, not a new-release phone as I usually did years back then, but I'm still satisfied with it :-)



3. 25th December 2008
Skip on the 24th cuz I don't really have much to tell on that day. We are just strolling around the malls in Hongkong. It was Christmas and we were on our way back to Guangzhou. We took the first class coach which cost HKD230. Well, my "high maintenance" cousin always wants the best service. LOL. Sorry for revealing it cuzzz. Not to mention that she keeps nagging about my bed and my toilet. But to be honest, my bed sucks! But I'm to lazy to get a new comfy bed. It's good to have a stiff bed, so that you won't be over-sleeping. LOL.




4. 28th December 2008
My cousin is departing GZ. Now that I'm having my bed back .... LOL.
Oh no ... tomorrow I gotta go to school again. Omigosh, I haven't prepare myself for the exam. Geez...
